A FIVB Grassroots Volleyball Cooperation Programme was held in Kinshasa, DR Congo from April 4 to April 7 with FIVB instructor Michel Vandermeulen of Belgium leading the course.
Thirty-seven participants learnt training methods and practice drills across the four-day event.
Shakob Woot, general secretary of the DR Congo Volleyball Federation was satisfied with the interest and the motivation shown from a new generation of players in the country, who proved that interest in the sport is not waning.
